Cleaves an entire glycan from a glycoprotein provided the glycosylated asparagine moiety is substituted on its amino and carboxyl terminus with a polypeptide chain.

应 用

Used to deglycosylate protein. Proteomics Grade PNGase F has been extensively purified and lyophilized from dilute potassium phosphate buffer to produce a stable product. The product is free from glycerol and other stabilizers, and contains very low levels of buffer salts. This highly purified material is excellent for N-ed deglycosylation of glycoproteins or glycopeptides in gel, in solution, or on blot membranes.

样品准备说明

Before opening the vial containing PNGase F, centrifuge the vial briefly to ensure the lyophilized material is at the bottom of the tube. Prepare a 500units/ml solution by adding 100ml of high purity water to a vial of 50 units. This results in an enzyme solution containing ~5mM potassium phosphate buffer, pH7.5. Depending on the application, solutions containing higher or lower enzyme activity may be prepared with the appropriate volume of water.
